July 2015 outlook


  Normal is OK this time of year. Our average temperature for June 2015 was very close to normal in the Twin Cities, coming in at eight-tenths of a degree above normal.  Our highest temp was  92 degrees on June 9, and our coldest reading was 52 degrees on June 1. The rainfall total at MSP airport was 4.40 inches, just .15” above normal.  

  The July temperature outlook from the Climate Prediction Center of the National Weather Service shows a tendency for below normal temperatures over most of Minnesota and Wisconsin:


   You can expect some warm days and some cool days in July, it is the average temp for the entire month that may come in a bit below normal. Our average high temperature in the Twin Cities is 83 degrees on July 1 and July 31, and it maxes out at 84 degrees from July 6 through July 21.
