October 2015 outlook



  September was warmer and wetter than normal in the Twin Cities. Temperatures were warmer than normal on 22 of the 30 days at MSP airport. The highest reading of 89 degrees occurred on September 4 and 5. The chilliest low temp was 43 degrees on September 30. Our average temperature for the month was 5.9 degrees above normal in the Twin Cities. 

  Looking ahead, the October temperature outlook from the Climate Prediction Center of the National Weather Service shows a slight tendency for above normal temperatures over much of Minnesota and northern Wisconsin:


  In case you are wondering, our average high temperature in the Twin Cities drops from 65 degrees on October 1st to 51 degrees on October 31st.
